LIL’ BEASTS (Ages 5-8)

“Little Beasts” teaches not only basic physical skills, but also social skills and confidence. Children learn foundation movements like the squat, push-ups, pull-ups, climbing, jumping, and elementary gymnastic movements.

More importantly, you will see your child also learns to follow directions, listen, communicate, and play with others. Every class includes fitness game play and positive reinforcement. Your child’s confidence, both physically and mentally, will grow with each class.

FUTURE BEASTS (Ages 8-12)

Our “Future Beasts” are on the road to becoming the next generation of Fitness Firebreathers. They will take a more in-depth exploration of the movements and programming consistent with our adult programs. Weight training will transition from dumbbells to mini barbells, with the emphasis still on using the least amount of weight possible to provoke a growth response in the body. Proper form will be priority number one. Workouts will be of higher intensity than the Lil’ Beasts program.

Classes continue to include game play and positive reinforcement, as well as discussions on what was learned in each class.

“Future Beasts” also includes focus on leadership skills. As children progress through the program, they will be asked to model movements, lead exercises, and demonstrate an ability to verbally explain exercises.

TEEN WEIGHTLIFTING

Every teen that enrolls in our “Teen Weightlifting” begins their training with an 8 week introductory series. All weight lifting is done under the supervision of a coach in a safe environment. Proper form is always emphasized over total weight lifted. After 8 weeks our teens programs become more individualized based on their goals, and weaknesses.

This program is perfect for young athletes looking to get an edge over their competition or teens who don’t play sports, but still want to learn a new sport or train like an athlete.

Our classes also incorporate high intensity training, plyometrics and agility work for conditioning. Teens will not only improve in their strength, stamina, and endurance though, they will also learn healthy habits about nutrition and recovery for athletes.
